No summer for this kitty

While most of the kitties living in the northern hemisphere are embracing summer, we in the south are gearing up our floof for winter (BRRRR). Winter in Sydney is not dire – no ice, snow or blizzard. Nonetheless, it still cold, wet and grey.

This means much of the time I curl up in my box with gran’s hand-knitted blanket…

Or if I am lucky, I would catch some occasional rays of the sun.....

Hey all you Floof & Furries out there!  It’s been a while since we’ve had a theme so why not take advantage of the change in the weather and go with SUMMER!

Baby Patches

Hai! Some of you may knows me already but for those of you who don't I am Baby Patches. I has a blog called da Confessions of the Plume.

First off, thanks you very much for dis opportunity to joins da Floof and Fur group! It really is an honor!

I was born April 7th, 2008 and my Gotcha day is July 25th. My momma & daddy founds me on PetFinder.com after they lost a precious kitty to them. It felt likes an empty house wif just my brofur Lucky left to keeps em company. So my sisfur LociLu was first adopted on the 21st and then 4 days later I founds my furever home!

Momma says I has grown up to be quite a floofie fur ladycat. I is very active and hyper Turkish Angora, plus I purrs very loudly. My blog was started when my momma recruited me to be her Chief Kit for SuppliesJust4Pets.com. It is where I gets to tells about my confessions and my daily life as da Chief Kit. I helps momma wif shipping, finding new products, and best of all I gets to test da products!

I hopes to meets all you Floof and Fur members! I is happy to has been invited and dat I joined!

Cheyenne Millie

Hi all! I am named Cheyenne Millie. Thank you for the invite to join this group. I live in Napa, in Northern California. I was abandoned by my first family when they moved away. Mom believes there was a sibling of mine who also was left behind, who was possibly adopted by a family a few doors down. For about 3 or 4 years after my family gave me a home they kept seeing another cat with exact markings like me roaming around the neighborhood. They at first thought it was me and that I had escape. But no, it wasn’t me. I would always still be inside the house. I lived alone outside for about 2 weeks hiding in and around the bushes of what was going to eventually be my new home. Actually, I wasn’t always totally alone for some of that time …. I had all these boy kitties (at least 2 or 3) chasing me up and down the big camphor tree out front of the house for several days. When mom saw what was happening she decided to catch me. They tricked me by putting kitty food in a cage! I have always been kind of shy, and I don’t like to be held or picked up. But, I do like to be pet, and my favorite past time is to sit on the back of the couch, up behind my mom, and fan my floofy tail over her hair letting her know I am there!

Hello! My name is Jasmim, nice to meet you ^^
Me and my mom (Giselle) are newly arrived in this world of blogs, we love everything =) And we are also in this blog in which we were invited to participate, we are quite happy with it!
Me and my mom live in the capital of Brazil, I have only 10 months old! I'm still a teenager kitten ... hehehe
I was a present for my mom, literally! On the day of her birthday, her boyfriend gave me for it, and my mother said that was the best present she had ^^
But for me to get in the house of my mother, sad things happened, which was the death of my brother. At the time he was going home to my mother, missing a week, he died. My mother was very sad, but this is past, and she caught me because I'm his sister, and got a "little piece" of him in me, and it makes my mother happy ^^
We will always feel the absence of my brother!
But despite all this, we always face our problems! We also have a blog as some of you, is called Macadamya. If you want to know more about us, are invited ^^

Hi Everyone! My name is Floyd, and I am 14 years old. My mom got me in 1996 when she moved into her first apartment, from a local no kill shelter. She really wanted a kitten and begged them to let her see me right away, so they let her in after hours, and we met and it was love at first sight for both of us! I am the alpha cat of the house, being the oldest, and mom says I am also the most nurturing and "best mom" of the group, even though I am a boy! I think this is because I get along best with all the cats in the house. Below are a few pictures of me, including and awesome one Zoolatry made for me. You can see in one I am showing off my furry belly - I had to be shaved a while back and I am so happy my fur is finally coming in I have to show it off. And, even though mom thinks I look crabby in my pictures, I am really a happy-go-lucky cat, and the most easy going of the four of us! I am very excited to be a member of Floof & Fur and can't wait to meet everyone!!

I was so surprised tonight to get an invitation to join fluff and fur, but also so pleased. What an honour.

I will tell you a little about me.,,

I was born on 19Th November 2001. Mum was living in a flat that went with her job and was not allowed pets, but had Dollycat who was a secret, Mum looked after a sheltered home for old people and a lot of them knew about Dollycat and loved her.
Mum went with a friend of hers to look at Persian kittens, supposedly for another friend as a surprise. Mum having always loved Gingers of course fell in love with me. The surprise turned out to be on mum as I was given to her for her birthday. Now how to keep me a secret.But mum did and the rest is history, I have been very loved and happy since then.

I will another time tell you a little more but enough for now, before you all fall asleep. lol
